Ok- we are leaving......by Bus?

Well actually 2 buses. They keep saying we tell driver safety first, but that's hard to believe when the roads are iced over. Anyway we are leaving at 1:00 in 2 buses to drive to Guangzhou. We have no idea how long this is going to take, we are definitely in for a LONGGGGGGGGG bus ride. The sun has peeked out a little bit so your prayers are working, now if it would just heat up and melt everything! Once we get to Guangxi (?) I think, they say it will take 6 hours to get to the White Swan, but who knows how long the ride will be to Guangxi, so keep us in your prayers. That 15 hour flight is sure sounding good right now!

UUGGHHH! We are praying for your safety...and just can't wait to get you home. Tell Madison how much we love her...the girls are serioulsy missing her. You are so lucky to have mom with you...then when you feel weak or down...she can be "the mom"...and that's the best comfort sometimes. Mom has a great talent of seeming calm sometimes when everyone else is panicing...and she can be very patient.I hope the bus driver knows what he's doing. We love you all so much...

OH MY GOODNESS!!!!!!!!!! AMANDA! We are praying you home, friend. We are praying praying praying! Please update as soon as you can, even just to say where you are!
And the visual of you and your mom sitting in the hotel room with Zoey and listening to your stressed out guides is, well, quite a picture! Wow. This is unbelievable.
Now you really can tell Zoey one day that you trekked through ice and snow to bring her home! ;)
Love you all...post soon!

O.K., Amanda, the weather in Guangzhou has made all our papers! Just think about that you all have the opportunity to be a part of the worst weather in 30 years (Ha!). Joy, we are thinking about all of you! We are also praying that you are all well and safe. Like Lee said, make lemonade! We love you all and can't wait for you to get on your way home!

My name is Chet, and I am a friend of Mike, Jen, and Mei. Our prayers are with you, and we hope that you get to Guangzhou safely and in a timely fashion.

Do we need to take up some kind of collection over here, and if so, is there anyway to wire the money to you guys? It sounds like you could be running into some unexpected expenses with all of this.

Hello to all...
Ken and I have been in Salt Lake City for the past week at one of Ken's shows and I just read all of your blogs. You've had a very interesting and exciting trip, to say the least!

Zoey looks precious - you can tell how much she has changed since the first day you got her. I am so happy for all of you and hope you have an uneventful trip after you get out of the snow.

God bless you all. Love,
Shannon

I can't imagine what ya'll are going through. Summer and I will keep ya'll in our prayers and hopefully that bus ride won't be so bad. Our comment from yesterday about the train was supposed to say, "isn't a ruff ride" not "is". Sorry... my brain works faster than my fingers!! I bet Madison and Vince had fun in the snow! Ya'll be careful and know that we love you, always!!
Love,
Joseph and Summer
